Continuing Education Credits:

Interior Designers

Learn and earn 0.1 CEU for every session that you attend.  All NeoCon® East 2011 one-hour sessions have been submitted to IDCEC for credit.  IDCEC is a consortium of professional organizations in the United States and Canada that coordinates continuing education approval activities.  IDCEC core members are ASID, IDC, IDEC, and IIDA.  During NeoCon East, some associations offer CEUs for their association forum and will be listed on the CEU card available on-site.

Architects

MMPI is an “AIA Registered Provider.”  Each 60-minute session offered at NeoCon East has been submitted to AIA for credit.  Upon approval each NeoCon® East 2011 one-hour session attended result in 1 Learning Unit (LU). Certificates will be available on-site from door monitors at each seminar room.

IACET Continuing Education

Many of the GSA training courses offer Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) credit.  Both the Clinger-Cohen (Federal Reform Act of 1996) and DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) provide criteria for this CLP training.  At the beginning of each GSA seminar, the participants’ attendance will be captured and maintained on file.  CLPs support Contracting (GS-1102) Series, who are required to earn 80 CLPs every two years to maintain their federal acquisition certification.  CLP’s also support Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) and Contracting Officer’s Technical Representatives (COTRs) who are often required, at a minimum to acquire 40 CLPs every two years.  CLP Certificates will be available from the door monitors on- site.

LEED Professionals

All NeoCon® East seminars under the Green (GR) educational track have been submitted for GBCI CE Hours towards the LEED Credential Maintenance Program.  Approval is pending. Certificates will be available from the door monitors on-site.

Lighting Designers

All lighting programs presented under the Light [LT] educational track have been registered with NCQLP for LEU Credit for the Lighting Certified (LC) professional.  One LEU is assigned for each 60 minute lighting program you attend.  Certificates are available on-site.

Fee Structure:

  • GSA sponsored seminars are free to all NeoCon East® attendees and are identified by the GSA logo.
  • Government employees with employee I.D may register for any of the one-hour seminars during both days of NeoCon East for a discount fee of $25.
  • All one-hour seminars are $30.00 each if pre-registered by October 27 and $40.00 each if registered on-site.
  • Association Forums coded with an [AF] vary in price.
